We are one of the most popular Farmers' Market around - celebrating 32 years of Jersey Fresh and local - with a full roster of the "Best of the Best" Vendors.

Our Market offers a large, safe, and enjoyable walking Market for our guests. Our Market is open every Saturday, from 8 am - 1 pm, rain or shine. The season runs through the last Saturday, before Thanksgiving.

HISTORY

The Marketplace was originally established in 1992 as a community service to help support local farmers, and enable them to develop new markets for their fresh grown produce. In 1994, the Scotch Plains Business + Professional Association (SPBPA) took over the management reign as a means to attract and increase business activity in the downtown Scotch Plains Towne Centre. Over the years, it has evolved, and expanded into a diverse Marketplace. The Scotch Plains Farmers' Marketplace is proudly managed by the Scotch Plains Business+ Professional Association - a not-for-profit organization - whose purpose is to assist and enhance the business community, in the Township of Scotch Plains, as well as its community involvement, and contributions as well.
